Submerged arc welding wire, as the name suggests, is a welding wire material used in submerged arc welding processes. Submerged arc welding is a method of welding that uses an electric arc to melt the welding wire and the base metal, with flux filling the space beneath. During the welding process, the welding wire is fed into the arc zone through a continuous wire feeder and melts under the high temperature of the arc, forming a weld with the base metal. Simultaneously, the flux melts under the heating of the arc and covers the weld surface, protecting the weld and preventing defects such as porosity and slag inclusions.
