Storage conditions for submerged arc welding wire are crucial, directly affecting its performance and welding quality. The specific requirements are as follows:

Ambient Temperature and Humidity: Store in a dry, well-ventilated indoor environment. The temperature should ideally be maintained between 5-30℃, and the relative humidity should not exceed 60%. Excessive humidity can cause the welding wire to rust, affecting welding results.

Storage Method: The welding wire should be laid flat, avoiding compression or twisting to prevent deformation. It is best to place it on a shelf or pallet, at least 30cm off the ground and at least 30cm away from the wall to minimize the impact of moisture from the ground and walls.

Packaging Protection: Unused welding wire should be sealed tightly in its packaging to prevent air and moisture from entering. If the packaging is damaged, remedial measures should be taken immediately, or the wire should be used as soon as possible.

Categorized Storage: Welding wires of different models, specifications, and batches should be stored separately and clearly labeled for easy management and retrieval, avoiding confusion.
