The working principle of a hose tube making machine is as follows: The strip material is fed into the welding machine via a feeding machine. Rollers compress the strip material into shape, then weld it using argon arc welding gas under protective shielding. The material is then rounded and output as a tube of the required length. A cutting mechanism cuts the tube, and a straightening machine straightens it. A spot welding machine is used to spot weld the strip ends together. This type of tube making machine is a comprehensive set of equipment that continuously welds strip material into tubes and straightens and rounds them.

High-frequency tube making machines are one of the mainstream tube making equipment currently available. Their automated production process includes processes such as raw material handling, uncoiling, cleaning, shearing and welding, material storage, forming and sizing, high-frequency welding, shaping, sizing and straightening, and flying saw cutting.
